2025-11-09: Trichrome & Macro

Camera: z70
Lens: 50mm macro
Film: APX 400

This roll of film was almost exclusively dedicated to my new trichrome filters.

Yet, when I first loaded it in it turned out we forgot the pumps for the inflates.
Since we both happened to have macro lenses (the lens I use for scanning film is also the one I put the filter threads for trichrome in, purely cause it's my best lens. And botch? they just have the fanciest lens ever of course!) we decided to shoot some random nature macro's instead.
I'm not complaining! ...tho I still have a lot to learn.

Then this camera sat in a drawer 'till suddenly a halloween supermoon gave me the mood to finish off the trichromes.

Trichromes are weird. Whilst editing they feel more like digital than analog, but they have their own wonkiness.

I'll probably revisit these photo's. I wanna try making better tools cause my poor poor PC is really hating those big files (thanks K1 for having a 7392×4950 sensor).
I do have a couple of notes, but overal I think the trichromes at night and the macro trichromes were a success.
Less so for the indoors trichromes tho, the artificial lighting did it dirty.

I'm not yet Worthy for the K1. It's a most excellent camera, and can produce some absolute bangers; but the way I shoot it is downright silly.

These were still left-over from Salzburg (that I was too scared to edit. Oh well, now I committed to it).
And yes it contains one of the fucking best photo's i've ever shot, a random moment at Frankfurt station. But my editing skills are not yet worthy of that moment.
