On the way to Salzburg we first stopped in Munich, and before doing that I loaded in a roll of cheap B&W.
We did not know what the weather would hold for us after all.
I am quite pleasantly surprised by these photo's. Although I had a high amount of rejects it's the bangers that count.
Luckely the weather eventually improved.
I first shot some Velvia with some beautiful moody skies (that's for another day), then the last day it was sunny and full of tourists outside. I found a roll of Cinestill 800T in my backpack that I had forgotten, so I said Why not
!
Other than that, these were more holiday shots than anything. But that's fine by me.
We had a little contest about whose camera has the best dynamic range (see picture of cannon) and the analog on 800T definitly wins!
Not pictured: if I decrease exposure those highlights you see the lush green details of the mountains. It has retained it all, I simply cannot demostrate it due to the limitations of screen technology lmao.
Also a first for me: shooting with a polariser.
Last but not least: this roll was plagued with issues.
From me loading the camera in wrong to it loading in sideways in the labbox (getting stuck to itself ruining half the roll), I guess I was just unlucky. But I still rescued some damn moody pics out.
And no before you ask: the pano's are just crops. Idk, was in the mood for wide shots again.
