Feeled like shooting Phoenix again, especially now that it's second generation is out and I gotto finish my stash of gen I.
The results came out as expected. I am used to relying on phoenix's surprisingly consistent results in my setup, I can often just scan and edit in one pass.
And not unimportantly, I like the results.
Some of these were shot at the end of the previous round, and yes the trichrome bob absolutely beats the Phoenix in terms of dynamic range (plus my p30t likes to underexpose which Phoenix does not quite handle) but colour film is convenient and fun.
Since the other roll of Fuji I got at the HEMA was shot on sunny 16 I thought it'd only be fair to shoot this one that I know exposes well (or at least, professionally. I don't always agree with it's results but at least it knows what it's doing, matrix metering babey)
However, there were... other issues. I don't know if the film was improperly stored (I mean grocery store film in 2025, what'd you expect) or if the lab might have had a hickup, but the film was grossly stained.
This resulted in some amber skies that suprisingly did actually work out in some shots, but definitly not what you'd want.
That being said, the color swatch came out handy
